Simplicity Promotes The Way to a Beautiful Lawn

Port Washington, Wis., (September 24, 2004) — Simplicity Manufacturing will be promoting its products as The Way to a Beautiful Lawn throughout the 2005 model year. Because a nice looking lawn depends on a precision cut, Simplicity believes its Free Floating mower is the pinnacle of performance. After all, no other mowers can create lawn striping patterns like they do in the Big Leagues.

Hinged from the pivoting front axle, the Simplicity mower deck pivots left to right freely as it rides on the Company's exclusive full-width rollers. The mower is free to follow the contours of the yard for the smoothest, most precise cut possible.

Every Simplicity mower provides maximum airflow for even cutting and efficient clipping dispersal. Super-sharp tempered-steel Marbain™ blades actually help your grass stay greener because they surgically cut grass blades rather than “tearing” them.

“Combined with a program of frequent watering and adequate fertilization, the Simplicity mower deck is a critical component for maintaining a beautiful well kept lawn,” says Ed Mangan, field director for the Atlanta Braves. “An inferior mower can ruin an otherwise well-kept lawn by tearing, scalping and scarring it,” he says. “That's why the high quality of cut you get with a Simplicity is so important.”

The Legacy XL is newly redesigned with a ½-inch-thick front frame and heavy cast-iron front axles that allow the Legacy XL to tackle jobs other garden tractors cannot handle.

Customers can select a 48-, 54- or 60-inch mower deck. Any size mower can be matched with any engine choice. All mowers are shaft-driven and Free Floating™ with full-width rollers.

Simplicity Free Floating mower decks with full-width rollers are available on Simplicity Legacy XL subcompact garden tractors, Prestige garden tractors, Conquest yard tractors, Broadmoor lawn tractors, Regent lawn tractors, Coronet riding mowers, Lancer riding mowers and Consumer Zero Turn units. Mower deck widths range from 30 inches on the Coronet to 60 inches on the biggest Legacy XL.
